When I was turning 20 and on the mainland to get ready for our wedding (yes, I was in fact a child bride) Thomas sent me a song he wrote for me and it was home recorded and simple and sweet and I love it.
Today I am turning 27 and this year Thomas surprised me by professionally recording it at Low Brow Studio, making it a whole new awesome, amazing song with a new verse and he not only wrote this, but recorded all the drums, lead guitar and vocals! Demitri did the bass and guitar fills. I LOVE IT!
I was so surprised and blown away that I just had a shocked look on my face when he surprised me with it and I may have done that crazy laugh/cry a few times. I cried some happy happy tears for sure. The beginning sounded somewhat similar to the old version and then BAM! Well, you'll see. It's cool.
Thank you for my song Thomas- you always blow me away. I love being married to a true artistic soul.
