Mellow Maui

So, I guess the boys had a good but low key trip this time. They didn't stay in the usual fancy places or do the usual exciting beachy things, but still managed to have a great time. The shows went really well and they made a bunch of money on this trip instead of breaking even or worse. They are thinking of returning at the end of Spring before Marc takes off for a summer of sales on the Mainland. That means that I will be solo again...but wait! I will have a baby boy to keep company! If their trip is close enough to the time we plan on visiting my family then I will just take the baby and go early and Thomas can catch up with us after his trip. We shall see. Even though my solo weekend wasn't the worse weekend ever- I am not too eager to repeat it- mostly because I just sit around talking to the baby (so kind of to myself), eating a bunch of junk, and never leaving my house. :) Here are some photos Thomas took that I really like of the mellow trip.

The sleepy Eskaran twins- can you tell which one is Adam and which one is Aaron?

I thought Demitri looked awesome here- hope he doesn't mind me posting this :)

Well it certainly looks like a mellow trip judging by those pictures. :-) Lots of sleeping...

I am excited for you and THomas and the boy to come out this spring! Any idea when?

Well, as you know the due date is the 12th of March. We got an ultrasound yesterday because I was curious to see if his head was down in the right position (it is)- but he is not very far down and my cervix is fully intact (too much information??) :). So, it looks like he will not be early at all- we shall see. Of course I want him to come when he is supposed to, but I am getting anxious.

I am hoping he doesn't show up until April 1st. Do you think that would be too much trouble for you?

You are too cruel Ashley!!

As for the alone time, enjoy it while you can. There will never be another time where you can focus more on your self and less of someone else. Once that baby is born it is all about him and you will never give yourself much thought again.

Susan once said she enjoys a pint of her favorite ice cream every time Fred is gone. So I have gotten into the habit of buying a pint of Ben and Jerry's every time Jake is gone :)

Brian left on a basketball trip right after I had Davin and I count that as one of the most important weekends of my life. I was home alone with this tiny baby and I realized that I could do it- I could be a responsible mom all by myself. I think you will enjoy your alone time getting to know little Ambrose.

Haha! That's funny that you posted that pic of my hubby...that was the day he woke up with a kink in his back that still hasn't gone away...
