Blessing weekend

Ambrose had his blessing last Sunday- Easter Sunday to be exact (which is a good way to remember it). I was so unnecessarily nervous beforehand that he would scream the whole way through it. I was so nervous that on the car ride over I couldn't even be conversational. He did make a noise here and there during it, but it was cute and he was just making himself known. The blessing was really beautiful and we had some good friends and family up there to help out. Here are some photos from the dinner we had that evening. Mike and Kahi's son Ezra and Martin and Diana's daughter Myra were really the best part about the evening. They kept us all entertained for a really long time. It is funny how kids can do that. My mom made a really great meal and Linda made her famous homemade rolls. It was really fun for me to be with everyone and have a special occasion in the boy's honor.

Grandparents! Betty & Kimball Hawkins and Dale & Linda Robertson on the blessing day.

Myra and Ezra = an even match They were so funny and cute the whole time.

This is a cute onesie my friend Erin sent him... I didn't think it would fit him until later because it is a 3 month onesie- but that is the size the chubby boy wears now. :)

Ambrose and Daddy relaxing after a very busy week (another new onesie from the Palmers).

Stay tuned Sooz- we are going to be taking photos of him in his Baby Rob onesie soon because it is so awesome! Man he's a lucky/stylish little baby!

I am glad Ambrose was able to have both sets of Grams and Gramps there for his special moment.

He is so cute and getting big. He wears the same size as Rainey. WOW!

You all look great!

I am so sad that I had to leave early and miss out on the Sunday fun. I miss Ambrose so much already. Maybe I will just quit my job and move to Hawaii.

Oh dear, such a historic photo and I look so bad. That is my "I'm realizing that we are about to leave Hawaii and the cute baby and instead of crying I have to smile!" Good thing the rest of me looked so svelte and charming :)

I love blessing weekend. It's funny how worked up we get about it- and then it's over in a moment. I am dying to know where his little onsie came from . That is the best gift. Can they be ordered online????

I know- cute huh? Erin Hawley sent it to him from New York- but I am not sure from where exactly- I will ask her for sure.
