Long time no post- is anyone checking this anymore? :) I have been on the mainland for a week and a half now and it has been really easy going and relaxing. Thomas' band is still on tour- they have had great success in Hollywood, Pheonix, New Mexico, and now are in Utah. Next they are off to Provo, Las Vegas and then they will finish up this weekend in Santa Monica. I am really happy for them and they have made some great contacts and someone is even interested in booking their next tour for them... maybe around Christmas break this year.
Ambrose and I have been hanging out with his cousins and aunts (and Adam when he got some time off work- busy guy!) in Las Vegas for a week and then we went to LA with the California cousins, Natalie, Ashley, and grnadma where we met up with temple worker grandpa (he met us after he was done) at the American Girls store to get Madi some new things for her doll. It was a really cute store and Madi had a great time running around and deciding which ensemble her baby needed.
Now Ambrose and I spend our days at my parents home watching TV and feeding non-stop... he's a hungry kid. I have stopped eating dairy and his temper improved- leading me to believe the sad truth that this whole time he was in pain! :) Poor babe. I just thought he was really cranky sometimes- he is still very "passionate" when he is hungry or tired- but for the most part things are looking good.
I am sorry there are no cool photos to document this time- Thomas has the camera with him on tour. He has taken some great pictures on the road though- check out his flickr page if you're interested. Just click on the "Talented Thomas" link on the top of my page.
Well, off to try some soy yogurt after my two pieces of dry toast this morning... oh joy! :)

Yeah a post! I am so glad you are still alive. I have missed you and reading your blog!
you better believe i'm still checking.
no photo's by the pool yet, but sometime when thomas get's back?
i'm dying to hear more about the success of the tour. Not that i'm not dying to hear more about you and amby pants. i'm sure he's grown a foot by now.
martin blessed you guys in our couple prayer last night. i'm not sure everyone wants to know that, but it was sweet, so i'm sayin it.
I wish I would have known that Thomas was coming to NM! He and his band could have stayed with us. That may have been awkward for him, but heck, if his is Ashley's in-law he should be used to awkward moments!
hahaha! how true- awkward moments do abound in the life of ashley hawkins- and she likes it! :)
diana- i love that marty prayed for us- you guys are the best of best. pool pictures may not make an appearance this year- i did just have a baby... :)
i don't drink regular milk anymore either. for my baby.
me+you=soon
also. thomas rocks at taking pictures. and it's cool that on his page he's just like "yeah, i think it's fun to take photos," instead of "yeah, i'm so good at this."
I thrive on awkward moments!!
to ashley and melmel k's comments: I agree!
make that "longer time no post."
