thomas saw the shins play tonight and saw the show in the vip section and gave them all high 5's after they played- lucky duck. i'm ready to move forward with some plans i have made for myself. by the way- sir paul's new album is pretty ok. some great songs and some more that i am sure i will like soon- i can never take it all in one gulp. well, never say never. rarely. bjork, mates of state, eisley, sundowner, and owen can be taken in one gulp- but if someone makes a mix cd for me i almost always hate it until a couple of weeks later when i've had time to absorb all the newness. then i listen to it obsessively.
a long day and some re-evaluating. time to get motivated again. this will probably mean a short asian-influenced haircut and some late night jogging. yup, it's been a day like that.

in fact, the salon i am going to is in honolulu and is primarily for japanese women- if you google it almost everything is in japanese- naturally i am beyond delighted
