Team Zissou
it's been a nice weekend. i got the monster billing done early friday morning so i had the weekend to relax without feeling that nagging- i have a 20 page paper due monday feeling. it was grand.
amby is getting very active, and opinionated, and noisy. it is so much fun! i feel lucky to be his mom and see him learn and grow. he's going to be a pirate for halloween. thank you old navy 25% off.
we had a little party last night with a few friends and that is always great as well. it reminded me that i really do like to be social. :)
oh yeah, and the other little update of little or no importance is that i have decided to be crafty. i am making a blanket for the boy and then headbands for my sisters after that (dont get your hopes up though, it may not work out). i purchased all the fabric already so there's no turning back now. unless i just let it collect dust like the bag that would have been of 2005 and the skirt that would have been of 2006. but here's to not letting it collect dust! cheers.
things are good- have a superb week!

love the pic of you and amby on bottom. you two are an extremely photogenic pair. good thing thomas is there to document all of it!
also, i couldn't help but wonder whether his little cap falls into the handmade category? either way, I love the idea of an outfit that consists of winter cap, diaper, and nothing else. i'm laughing at the not so witty idea as i type.
no i didnt make that cap- but thanks for the idea! you are indeed witty- never doubt it. :)
I love your bangs in that picture. So cute my friend!
That is sure a cute picture of Audrey Hepburn and her baby :)
Beautiful baby and grandbaby.
No way... I totally made headbands last week! I'm obsessed with fabric-covered headbands! Ask Roxie... I gave her a whole bag full. Let's swap!
Hahaha. My re-designed skirt of 2004 (originally crafted in 2001) just got finished this week. It is comforting to me to have random scraps of fabric around, even if I don't have any plans for them. Best wishes with your new endeavors.
