thomas practiced with the d80 this weekend and there have been some really cool results. many of the up close photos are interesting because they are taken right up against the subject, which wouldnt have worked out so nicely with the old camera/lenses. i really dont pretend to know anything about photography, but i take thomas' word for it and am excited to see what he comes up with- especially once he gets all the functions/techniques down. i think maybe next weekend we are going to try and get some family photos taken... you have a week thomas! get crackin!
What the sippy cup?! Such a big boy allready. I love the picture of you 2 laying down for 2 reasons: 1-it shows perspective, ambrose = the length of your torso. Love it! 2-it warms my heart that my child isn't the only one who thinks he's a growth or something (constantly clinging on and poking you in the neck) Ahh but what a cute little growth he is. :)
yeah, he mostly likes to chew on the spout of the sippy cup with his teething teeth, but he has been known to sip some water out a time or two. and yes, he thinks that he is another appendage of mine and once again i am conflicted about this: 89% (the granola side) of me says, "oh, my little buddy boy! i love you- lets hang out and be best friends forever!" and the other 11% says, "AHHHHH!!! let mommy just read two more blogs without you breaking the mouse on the computer and putting office supplies in your mouth!!!!"
I am so happy that you have discovered our blog and are making your "stephanie-esque" comments. It's so fun to see you guys, and especially how big Ambrose is getting! The only downside is that it makes us miss you all the more. I would love to serve you warm homemade rolls on a cold day again, but I don't think you even know what cold feels like anymore!
I envy Thomas' photography skills (and his camera)! I really like that pic of you and Ambrose laying in bed. I wonder how many VitaMixes you could've bought with how much that camera was...?
haha-i know, right? :) but i guess future posterity will be more interested in seeing the photos and less interested in hearing how i fed millions the finest blended foods! :) at least that's what i tell myself.

awesome. the pictures rock, but i just keep thinking about how you're wearing capris and a t-shirt. my feet are frozen currently...and i'm in bed.
i long for sweater/jacket weather... i guess the grass is always greener on the other side...
i long to see more pictures of the robertson family. glad to see you have a new camera to get the job done...
