i was browsing the blog-o-sphere this evening as i waited in the dark and quiet of my apartment (ambrose sleeping) for thomas to come home from upstanding youth practice and i found a cool site through an old acquaintance's blog.

for every vocabulary word you can guess correctly (and believe me- i had to do a lot of guessing and trying to remember all those roots, suffixes, prefixes...etc. from school) they will donate 20 grains of rice through the united nations to end world hunger. it is a cool little idea and is indeed very addicting. give it a try- it's for a great cause.
oh, and on a way less generous note: vote this cry baby off already!
seriously, he has never created one well thought out or well-sewn look!
we will miss you kit- she is the allison of her season- so great and should not have been voted off. (ignore the bad debbie harry impression outfit- she is normally very stylish)

oh, i'm so with you, he should have been gone two episodes ago. i haven't seen the newest episode but i was so t.o'd/p'd off when the guy that reminded me of martin got booted instead of mr. hat fettish (even though his dress was as bad as they said). and i liked kit, sad to know she's out, but can't wait to see how it all went down.
I loved that rice thing. One day at work when I was suppose to be doing something..probably teaching..I did this instead and it was great.
ah! this is why we are friends! what is with ricky? the only entertaining moment he has provided was when he mentioned that he made his girlfriend's prom dress... "i guess that should have been a sign." HA. anyway...
