We have been wanting to get Ambrose into the mode of falling alsleep in his crib and sleeping there all night. It has been tough to break him of his Christmas-spoiledness.
This morning Ambrose woke up at 5:30am after sleeping in his crib all night. He slept with us in our bed for another two hours, sat up and clapped his hands. I put some nice clothes on him and took him out in the yard and took some photos of him while stephanie slept a little more. Since we have been back I haven't really had the chance to use my camera much, so it was fun.

When you get him to sleep through the night in his own crib, do share the secret. We've just got the "through the night" part, now we need the "in his own crib" part. Good luck in your endeavor.
well, he sleeps through the night only because we moved the crib to the opposite side of the studio apartment we inhabit and we just let him cry himself back to sleep if he wakes up before 5:30/6ish AM and he has really learned that that is just the way things go. it is hard at first, but it is good for them to learn boundaries. at least it is good for bubba- when i let him nurse all night long...etc. he is so much more bratty the next day. ah, the joys of raising a person...
He's just so cute Steph! It seems as though when you have such cute babies you should have lots more of them!!!

We're considering relocating to Hawaii so we can pay Thomas to take photos of our offspring.
