my baby boy turns one on march 19th and since his cousins from kansas city, mo. are visiting, we decided to have his party a couple weeks early so we could add them to the guest list. it was so much fun! i really wasnt even on cloud nine. i was on, like, cloud twenty. it was a monster party since he is my little monster and so we had monster toys, lights and monster invitations. almost all of his little friends were able to make it-- along with some aunties and uncles. so many people helped with set up and clean up and just helped us have the best day ever- and oh- the presents were so thoughtful and fun too! it was a perfect first birthday for the boy we love the most!
click on this first one to enlarge and check out that look on his face- he's in sugar heaven!

What a birthday for the little (or not so little now that he is almost 1) guy. Looks like fun! Too bad aunty Star and uncle Jeff couldn't make it.
now that would have really been the icing on the cake!
rad
omg - him eating cake is hilarious. i love it!
you are looking real skinny steph! yahoo - in those black and white stripes? couldnt be cuter.
steph--you are the coolest mom of all time. i love this party, and ambi looks so cute in his sugary bliss!
LOVE the pics. Especially the cake eating of course! Sorry we couldn't be there, looks like it was a lot of fun. Happy b-day little guy, or at least pretty soon. March is a great month for b-days (I'm a little biased).
Aloha Robertsons- glad to hear I share a birthday with such a cool kid! Looks like it was a great party!

What a fun birthday party!! I may need a copy of the picture of him with the cake. That is about the cutest thing.
haha!!those pictures are the cutest one year old cake eating pictures of all time. love them.
kaiya was so sad that she missed it--unfortunately noon is her nap time and we tried very hard to keep her awake but she was litterally falling asleep in my arms. so we but her to bed. looks like it was an awesome party though.
Happy Birthday! They grow up so fast!
what a fun day. what a fun party, what a fun family.
So cute! Happy Birthday!! Sorry you had to stalk me, although it's good to know that it is difficult, but possible:)
How fun! We are birthdayed out from our 3 year old's b-day. You've inspired me to do something for Banks too. I love the monsters! Just wait two more years... he'll pick his own theme and it might be eggs.
I love that look on his face. That might be one of the best pictures of all times.
First, you Stephanie, look SMASHING! And B {who do I sound like?} I love that Amby just went for the cake. It is so sad to me when little ones sort of paw at their cake and don't really dive into it and smear it all over the place. So three cheers for you, and three more for the birthday boy.
You know how to throw a party!! His face just screams "bliss" (is that an oxy-moron?) in the photo where his face is covered in blue frosting. I can't believe he is nearly one!!
Happy, Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday Ambrose! this is Jill smith. I'm so glad you found our little corner of the blogging world. Looks like being parent is fitting you and thomas well. You guys are rad.

Hey Tom and Stephanie,
It's Julie, formerly Wrathall. I love the cake pictures! It's fun to check in from time to time. I thought it was about time to say that "I see you" (in a non creepy way)
LOVING every single picture! Happy Birthday Amby! I can't believe he is one already. Steph you look like such a hip mom. You are my idol.
PS~ Can you please feed your kid more sugar and post the pics. Priceless.
