we all blog stalk. you know, you are reading the blog of a friend when you run down their list of links and think, "ah ha! i think i know that person- i am going to read their blog even though they arent one of my very best friends..."
well, i used to check this girl's blog from time to time because she always has cool things to post about life as a mom/life in general. i read a post the other day about a hard time she had had with her baby and how she felt horrible and i thought, "oh man, i have been there and i know every other mom has too. i feel inclined to say something encouraging to her." and then i thought, "but that's crazy, wacky! she probably doesn't even know me. i think i met her once. long, long ago. but we have mutual friends... yadda yadda yadda..." (this inner monologue went on for the better part of five indecisive minutes). anyway, i went ahead and decided to bravely post an encouraging comment, prefacing that we have mutual friends and i am inspired by her blog and to keep being great! or something like that. it was posted and i felt slightly creepy, but good. i'm always delighted when i find out people are reading my blog. good. done.
a couple days pass and i decide to check her blog.

hahahahaha... i officially creeped her out apparently. oh man, that's as close to a restraining order as i ever want to get. :) perhaps it's just a coincidence... so much for random acts of blogging kindness.

I know of a few people who have privatized their blog recently. It seems to be a trend. People and their need for control . . . what is the world coming to? :)
hahaha. You can stalk me. I don't have anything interesting to say, but I don't mind. I guess it's not stalking if you don't care??? Anyway, many people don't know I read their blogs, so I guess that makes me a creep too. I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo...
ha ha! That is too funny!!! I did post on one girl's blog once(we had mutual friends), but I didn't know her. I'd better check and make sure she hasn't blocked it since. You crack me up!! Maybe she had been planning to do it anyways, but just finally got around to it. Still laughing though!!!! I don't think your a stalker though.
Hahahaha that is hilarious. We've never met and yet we comment at will. I love it! Yeah my sister in law says it is called "blurking" and I totally do it! I have thought about posting comments before and now I'm glad I didn't! hahaha I'm still chuckling.
ha ha ha. so funny. i have often thought of doing the same thing (commenting on blogs of friends of friends) and i am glad i didn't now that i hear your story. that is so funny though. i am still chuckling about it.
that is kind of a little snotty too though. she is pretty much saying,"no thanks i have enough friends and you can not be apart of my exclusive club."

I think that is so funny that she blocked after your comment. I do have to say though- someone randomly commented on my blog a while back- obviously a friend of a friend of a friend (they live in Provo) and it kind of freaked me out. I don't know why...
HAHAHA. as a regular blog stalker, this entry cracked me up. i always wonder who might be reading my blog, but i think that, like you, i'm generally flattered to find out that people read the rantings of my daily life. too good, friend. too good.
Hi- You don't know me but you might recognize me from a photo {my name is AJ}. I don't even think I was ever introduced but I think you and your husband know my husband Jake Folkman - he wrote with you at Ke'alikai and lived in the Canoe house. Anyway, I stop by from time to time to blog stalk and you always have good things to say about life in general, a cute baby, good pictures and i miss the island A LOT and it is nice to have a little piece to remind me of the wonderful times. Hope I haven't creeped you out but we all do it. I don't think you are CREEPY at all.

Seriously though I once ran into someone at Temple Beach who I blog-stalked. She was telling me stories about her children that I already knew from reading her blog, so I just smiled and nodded to avoid an awkward situation.

I am erin's friend and met you a couple times at BYU-I. I totally blogger stalk you all the time and I love your blog. I have almost left comments before but didn't because I thought it was weird!
