teething/distractions/weekends/whales
i love our weekends. just long periods of family-lovey-dovey time! ambrose is getting two molars in and it is CrAzY!!! around here because of those chunks of pain. we managed to get him out this weekend though to distract him from the trauma. we went to the windward mall-awesome-sent from heaven above playground, enjoyed the new ben & jerrys there, then went to the kaneohe district park and ran around (he now prefers the two legged approach to getting around), and then home to grandmas for a sleep over so me and thomas could get out, have a date and go to thomas' show. ah, good looking that drummer. even with the mega-teethatron it was a fun weekend. oh yeah, and the cranky picture is to illustrate the level of sass we are dealing with and the cuteness of his whale tie i found at the children's place. Oh my goodness he looks so grown up! He's a little boy! He walks! How wonderful and adorable and amazing. I love the tie and especially the shorts. That is so classic. What lucky parents you are.

It's a pity the teething process is so long. Eliza has a new molar coming in right now too. Boo.
Poor baby! I really feel for the little guy, growing teeth must hurt so bad!How nice that you got a date and you can leave ambie with G-ma. Oh, I watched the office. Painful. And I think that dance scene was the best/worst of it.

Did the Windward Mall always have a play-place or is it new? I spent nearly every afternoon there with Emily (my "skills trainee") and I don't recall....
Are you trying to kill me?!! All these cute pictures of the boy. Two months is too far away to see him again. I can't wait to try to and hold him while he is trying to get away. :-)

Oh such a delightful post. I love this little man. I especially liked the picture of you kicking back with Ambrose. You are such the super model. By the way, my mom mentioned you guys live right around the corner from them. Watch out for crazy John Dawg running around in his lava lava chasing chickens.
Looks like you guys have your hands full, but man the tantram looks SOOO CUTE, at least the picture does, doubt I would like to be there for the real thing. How fun for you guys to have a date and check out a show again, its been a while right? So fun for you guys I'm sure. You'd better believe we are looking forward to you guys joining us in the Northwest. Hurry up already. j/k But it will sure be fun if it works out sometime. Trust me, it does seem to go by faster for you guys than it does for me (this last internship). j/k It hasn't been too bad, but I will admit, I AM NOT A DESERT PERSON! It is now getting up to the low 90's - and it is only mid-April. So glad we are leaving before the 120's. Its too hot already for me. Only 3 more days and then we are making a REALLY QUICK TRIP to DISNEYLAND!! So fun, we'll play Saturday and head home Sunday. Tayson is Stoked! Neither of the boys have been, but I think they will love it and they are just at the right height to go on a lot of the rides. K sorry this is so long. Love the pics of your weekend though. Tell Tom thanks for all the help with Brady and his camera questions, he is sure getting excited about getting one.
well, yeah, but there's this really cool fabric i've been wanting to use for something--anything--and i haven't been able to think of anything. it's black with neon 80s-esqu paint splatters (in blue, or green, or orange, but i like the blue)and it's awesome. so if you feel like dragging your feet on purpose, tell me the dimensions of the window. love.
ambrose has gotten so big since the craft night you brought him to a while back. he is so cute!
teething ... huge bummer.
