he explored without stopping for air for two hours straight. we are definitely coming back!
of course his favorite part of the whole center was latching and unlatching the gate over and over and over and over...etc.
afterwards the kids got end of the session certificates and we were served a very local style lunch (he actually ate his rice for the first time and liked it - score!)
and the kids all got goodie bags with all kinds of awesomeness inside:
we love na kamalei. sometimes we have hard behavior days, but i am so glad that everyone is so loving and understanding and ambrose has learned so much socially, behaviorally and academically since we have been enrolled. what a blessing.

what? thats the first time he had rice?
you need to give that boy some more rice~!
☺
and yes, that does look fun.
oh i should clarify: not the first time he had rice but the first time he didnt spit it out and act like we were trying to poison him :) he's kinda funny with cooked foods sometimes... dont ask me why. but he is starting to try more things much to my relief these days.
hehhee, ok then.
kids are funny like that. Even Kailani- we gave her some poi a few months ago, loved it, gave some to her a few months after and didn't like it. My husband freaked out saying she's not a real hawaiian if she doesn't like poi.
I'll tell him to read your post.
:)
COOL!!
Where is this place? I know you told me but i don't remember.
it's off of ward - like you pass up ala moana blvd. and keep on driving until the road curves and then there you are! it is normally $10 but only $8 for kama'aina and of course 1 year olds and under are free- well worth all $8 in my opinion. you could be there all day and still have stuff to do next time.
