does he seem ridiculously grown-up to anyone else lately?

he insists on picking his own outfits these days ("amby do it!") and carrying his own things and opening the door for his mother ("here ya go mommy!"). i'm sorry this blog has really taken a major turn into the "look at my kids" only zone, but that is what i'm all about these days. oh and yes you guessed it melissa- this song is totally my theme song these days. haha! :)

camera over one shoulder, apple in one hand, bag of his essentials in the other.... he's ready for a playdate with elijah!

1. At least Amby can put together a decent outfit. I don't see any lime green with cheetah print.

2. He's growing, but still adorable with his apple and camera.

3. Cameron had an imaginary friend named Gee Gee. He/She lived in the vacuum, which meant that Cameron could spend a long time talking to the vacuum.

I love that stage! The stage where everything is an accomplishment, and they pride themselves on it! soaking up every bit of encouragement you give them. It keeps you loving them on those extremely hard days!

Eden is sitting on my lap right now saying, "Go potty Ambrose! I wanna go see Ambrose at the playground." I'm glad he has so many friends for play dates. I wish I was still around to help. Love ya!

Loving the kid-zone! Your two are worthy of all the positive attention. Look how darling! AND, two! You did it. You took the leap. And it appears you are not only surviving, you are flourishing. Hope to be as great as you!

I just said to Ben last night that the little one stops being a baby only as soon as the new baby is born. Banks is still a tiny little BABY to me, but if he had a little brother he would instantly grow up, just like Ambrose. Don't tell me he's getting older because I'm seriously not ready to see Banks as a big kid yet!

Changing his bum is a whole lot different from changing the newbie's, eh?
