you want a better look at him?
man he is precious. it's almost heartbreaking to be the mother of a second child because you know to appreciate them so much more because they change so quickly, and you are less nervous about taking care of a newborn so you can just soak it all up, but you most likely need to give 95% of your daytime attention to the older sibling and so you feel like the second just gets to wait (luckily they sleep so much). but, when ambrose is napping or in bed for the night i scoop this little one up and we nurse for longer than during the day and we cuddle up and i just sniff that sweet newborn scent and want to eat him up! he is so very sweet.
anyway, today me and ambrose decided to introduce asher to one of our hot spots: aka- the play area, pet shop, arcade, elevator section of windward mall while daddy was getting a little business taken care of at the kaneohe office. it was.... hectic. but we survived and it was nice to get out and try to manage the two jungle beasts for a morning outside of the home.
oh and if you like this sling, it's one of melissa crosby's creations and you can buy them here. there are several fabrics to chose from and i think she might even custom make one if you have your own fabric, but you better double check with her on that one. they are so handy for the second kid cuz you need your hands FREE so you can hunt down and tackle the older and more rascally sibling!

Um, hellooo skinny mama! Wow!! And Asher is adorable. Thanks for the good look at him.
What a sweet baby!! I CANNOT WAIT to hold him.
The hair! The hair! I'm in love with his hair. Maybe by the time Roscoe is born, Asher's hair will be long enough that you can cut it and send some to me so I can put it on my kid's head, because I'm counting on a bald baby this time. Not getting my hopes up for anything fancy like Asher has.
Asher is so so so socute! He looks tan! I don't know if its the lighting though. I cant wait to see you guys! You are an awesome super mom...and I love Asher in the bassinet. Yipeeeee~!
i think he looks like you in that first pic. such a cutie!!
you are so brave to venture out like that. i am still really unsure of being further away from home than laie.
yay!! you went out! with the two - you brave woman, you! and i wish the pictures online were the scratch-and-sniff kind. you know, so i could smell him as i enjoy his super-cuteness. i love that first shot - i see traces of a dimple? oh, steph. the other car is supposed to be up and running tomorrow. hopefully it happens and i can get my hands on that sweet morsel of a baby you got there...
he is a real hunk that Asher man. Way to go ambitious one! outta da house with double trouble in tow. Lovin it. Makes me think that I could do it. When choob is like 10 or something.
You are a brave mom! I love the sling, I just ordered one!! You great for just giving birth! I love your insights into being a mom of two. Your boys (all three of them!)are so lucky to have you!
Oh my. He is delicious. So sweet. I felt the exact same way about baby #2. Well said. As for baby #1, today Grant declared that he and Henry are "best friends". I teared up a little. I guess he survived the new-baby-in-the-house stage.
Is it a dimple???
He is SOO scrumptious!I really need to come by sometime!!
you are brave for taking them both out I wish i could say it gets easier and less hectic... But it hasn't yet... For me at least.
and before I go I need to tell you how great you look! you look AMAZING!!!
He really is handsome! And this Nina Gordon song is one of my all time favorite songs.
He is so cute. I am dying to see him.
i just died. DIED! what an incredibly handsome child! he is such a little gem!
alright, enough of the cliche (but absolutely sincere) womanly comments.
I love that you are brave and adventurous you tried taking them out already! good for you! Glad you guys survived.
love those pictures of him, and thanks for the plug! ;)
I liked the title of this post. I can't believe he just came out of you! He is so sweet looking. And yeah, you are lookin' thin! Congratulations on being a momma of two healthy beautiful little boys!
oh man. he is such a sweet, cute little man!!! I have been annoyingly busy and I want to come out and see you and him very badly! makes me want to have another baby right now...almost.
congratulations! he is beautiful! i love the smile in the 1st one! good shot.
What adoreable photos. I wish I would have taken a few more newborn of Texton...and can't believe how fast he grew!!! And I know just how you feel about never being able to spend enough time with #2, cause all your time goes to #1. Hope things are going well for you. I'm amazed you tried the mall so soon! You are awesome and doing amazingly well. You are still welcome to my place if you like. JP can get you a key. :-) Talk to you again soon!
First, Asher is beautiful/handsome.
Second, seeing a newborn makes me realize how BIG Axton is. Seriously.
Third, you are very brave for getting out like that. I am amazed.
Fourth, if anyone can survive the adjustment to 2 kids, it is the Mighty Stephanie Robertson!
Fifth, I wish I could hold that Asher of yours. Sigh!
The End. For now.
