i felt a really special feeling as i walked around the temple grounds with my little family.
that handsome husband is mine, those precious boys are mine. we love each other so much and we are sealed for eternity because of the temple! how wonderful.
it was a beautiful and sweet night for our family.
when we headed back to the apartment- grandma hawkins was ready to rock ambrose to sleep and daddy cuddled up with asher. a lot of love all around.
ambrose's favorite part? playing on the tiny and kinda dirty patio! of course.

my parents were wed in that temple. it's lovely. i've never even seen it in real life, though. (we never ventured TO l.a. on our childhood visits to grandma's.)
but what the heck are temple apartments (i mean, your post makes it pretty clear what they are, but i had no notion of such things before).
been to the visitors center there at that temple. and i, too, never knew there were such things as temple apartments. but the concept is pretty rad.

yeah- it is pretty cool. anyone can stay there if they are attending the temple and need a cheap 70's-ish place to stay. also, there are people who are called to work in the temple during the week so they live in the apartments and then go home to their hometown on the weekends. kinda random but true. a lady from our old ward told us so. :)
We just went to the LA temple to walk around on Saturday... I took that same picture of the flags and the temple in the background!
That is so funny you stayed in those apts. brandon and I couldn't figure out what/who they were for. now I know.
