31 year old husband!

This is three days late, but Thomas turned 31 on the 4th! It was a glorious day for everyone. We headed to Ala Moana to get the man some new clothes and while he tried stuff on in peace the boys and I treated ourselves because it's not a birthday if you don't celebrate... without the person whose birthday it is... (We saved him some for when he was done. Calm down.)

Oh yeah, and while we're on the subject of buying stuff for yourself on someone else's birthday, I got new make-up using my many Sephora gift cards! Thanks Mom and Dad! I tried to take pictures of it for you while we were waiting in the GAP with delightfully awkward results like this:
It's harder than you think.
But this'll do:

Anyway, back to the birthday boy:

Isn't he handsome? 31 looks good on him! We got a couple other things for his birthday, spent time together as a family, and then put the boys to bed and went to see this:

and we loved it!

Happy Birthday Thomas my dear! We love you so much.

Sounds like a fun birthday! I heard True Grit is awesome. What are those delicious green things your boys are eating?

Rebecca- they are macaroons! I dream about them! Liko, Sheila and I learned to make them one time and they were beautiful, but I don't know if I feel confident enough to make them on my own. Google image search macaroons nad see the prettiest Marie Antoinette pictures ever!

and I'm sure those macaroons tasted better than ours. Those are better to buy than make. haha.

Happy Birthday Thomas!

Ah, yes. That's how I prefer to celebrate all my loved one's birthdays -- without them. Just wait until you see what I have planned for your big day this year.

So glad you guys liked True Grit. I was pleasantly surprised by it. I would even dare say that I would watch it again.

And, most importantly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY THOMAS!
