So do you want the blog version or the real story?

Luckily they both have a very happy ending.

Bloggy version:
Look at Ambrose on his first day of Sunbeams!

He sure is a grown-up, precious, handsome boy!

Real story:
Look at Ambrose on his first day of Sunbeams!

I sure wish I didn't have to threaten him into his church clothes. Having him chase me out of the back of the chapel screaming, "I want my nice Daddy!!!" at the top of his lungs after he just acted like a wild boar during someone's testimony isn't making my top favorite memories of 2011 list currently. I sure wish I would have taken a deep breath instead of storming home with both kids for a lengthy time-out. I sure am glad he got his act together and came out of his room and said, "Mama, I am sorry for being so naughty. I think I missed some fun in Sunbeams but if we go back we can still have some fun." I am relieved that he is a special boy like that and that we went back to church so he could be a Sunbeam for the very first time.

He sure is a grown-up, precious, handsome boy!

Maybe because it's 2am and my youngest is refusing to sleep. Or because I also left sacrament meeting with both kids today. But I really like that story.

haha! My kids wake up on Sunday crying because they hate church, so kudos to Ambrose for wanting to go back.

Banksy loved Sunbeams too!

Wow. He is a special boy! So, I am doing research for my paper on "The Spiritual Tranformation of the Teacher" (love Montessori) and I came across something that reminded me of you and your little boys: "How are we to give religion to little children? Well, we must not give it, we must see it develop. The sentiment is there; if it were not we could not give it and we could not help it develop." :)

LOVE it! He's so cute. I always wondered that too with foodie blogs.. cuz you know they are only taking a picture of one square foot of their house that looks PERFECT, and you know what? that plate of goodness is probably on a napkin sitting on top of the washing machine to get "just the right light". No joke. :) Here's to reality and blog confession! Love it!

And he is oh so sweet! I love the apology.. ;)
