I was all excited to check out a swim trunk tutorial since the subject said something about, "when was the last time you sewed something for the men in your life?... etc.". And I thought, "AH HA! Fathers Day! Wouldn't that be awesome!"

I can see some trendy little surfer boys around here making those shorts work out okay (even though the length and fluff of them are ugly as sin), but
the shoes (?!)

Really?
I can't think of any of the men in my life to sew for when I look at those.
But it made me laugh so that's cool.
