Halloween Eve
Tonight for family home evening, thomas and his parents and I carved jack-o-lanterns. We all agreed that it is not really that fun to do. Maybe if we had kids around it would be more so, but the inside contents were a real pain to get out and we all kind of ended up throwing up our hands at a certain point and deciding that enough gutting was enough. It was more fun once we got to the actual carving part, but the most fun was when we were just done and could enjoy our work. My brother-in-law Jacob had his kids pose in this same way with their freshly carved jack-o-lanterns the other night and we thought it was cute so we copied them. It is decidedly not as cute since we are not children, but still fun nevertheless.

That is a cool picture! I have to say carving pumpkins without kids was not usually as fun. But now it is so fun!
Am I allowed to comment on your blog, Stephanie? Well I carved pumpkins this year too, and it was on a blind date, which probably isn't as fun as with kids. But we made ours have a double meaning (like that picture that's either a young girl with a fur collar or an old witch lady? you know the one?)so it was satisfactory.
HOLY CRAP STEPH! I totally made a BOO jack-o-lantern this year also... I should publish the pictures on my blog...
