Our family lately

He looks handsome in brown.

My two boys- I sure love them.

This picture is hilarious and gross at the same time. Thomas thought that nap time was really cute so he took photos and then later realized that I was so wiped out- I had a little pool of drool collecting under my mouth... nasty. But the general idea of this photo is cute.

Chubby at his best.

Happy Boy!

Things are going good so far. We are learning how to be a functional family. Ambrose is so cute and sweet. Sometimes he cries a bunch and then I just feed him... over and over. He eats a lot. Like every two hours and sometimes a little more frequently than that. He smiles and makes awesome faces and tolerates us poking at him and making him do things that crack us up. He has a healthy digestive system...that's for sure and we still laugh really hard every time he lets out a loud one... are we twelve year old boys or parents? :) I get up about three to four times in the night with him and so far I don't hate it. Of course I would rather sleep all the way through the night- but once I wake up a little and pick him up I get all excited and cover him in kisses as usual... he is very patient with his mother and all her smothering. We just love him. A whole bunch. My parents come to visit on Saturday!!! and Ashley arrives Sunday!!! We are so excited! Hopefully they don't get too bored though- we have a pretty mellow routine these days. Anyway, things are challenging but good and we are happy.

Thanks Steph. He is so cute and it sounds like you guys are doing great. Good job feeding him more (Some nurses live in a dream world). I remember some days feeding Zac almost all day long. I can't wait until May.

Yeah, the nurses told me "Oh, make sure you get him on a three or four hour schedule or you are going to be hating life..." but I hated life when I had him on that schedule because he was always fussing and now he seems to be always eating- but less fuss and he is a cute eater if that makes sense. We have a fun time together- he makes all these grunty pig noises or panty puppy noises and smiles a lot... it melts my heart over and over.

He certainly is cute!

You sound like you are having fun being a first time mom. I am so happy for you.

Have fun with your parents and Ashley. It sounds like it will be a fun week.

Stephanie- he is SO cute. I love his chubby little cheeks. Sounds like you are doing great. The first couple weeks can be rough- trying to figure it all out. The best advice I ever got was "Don't listen to anyone's advice." Find out what works best for you and what your comfortable with. He'll work his way into a schedule eventually. Keep the picts coming. So cute.

Ambrose is so handsome in person. He is so fun to be with. Stephanie and Thomas have jumped into parenting 24-7 and are naturals.
