There's a lot of fun stuff going on around here the last week or so. Thomas' sister Shauna is visiting with her kids and her husband has just joined us here in Laie as well. They are very cute and very interested in the baby and he is getting used to all the attention. He started out by being afraid after a few over-zealous attacks and now the little ones are very careful and sweet around him and he seems to have toughened up as well. I assured Shauna that this is not the first time he has been mauled or afraid of children so she should not feel bad. My niece Rebecca also babysat him while I did some work on campus for a little while and did such a great job that I considered hiring her to be my nanny. Also, we had a fun fish taco night last Sunday with some friends- Mike and Bille & Zane and Anna. Good times. It was so nice to hang out and laugh and eat and not go home at 7:30pm (we put ambrose to bed at mike and bille's house and he slept soundly on the way home). Oh yeah, and I got some photos of Ambrose at the beach. I lathered him up in baby sun screen but he still managed to get some pink on him from his half hour in the sun. So, in no particular order (seriously, no organization what-so-ever) here are some photos from these events:
Thomas and I at the fish taco party

The Whites (minus Justin for some reason...)

Ambrose showing off his rolling over skillzzzzzzzz

Make sure you have plenty of sunscreen on...

Bille the fish taco maker

Anna the Acai smoothie maker

Emily loves the baby and brings me things for him all the time so he can be happy.

Emily White- she makes me want to have a little girl next- look at that face!

Mike and Thomas- so crazy! (well, as crazy as you can be on a sunday night, at a mormon gathering, when the baby is up, and you're married, and etc... what? we're cool ok?!)

It sounds like you are having lots of fun! I am so glad! Your comment about being as crazy as you can be at a mormon gathering when you are married made me laugh...so true! I also love the close up picture of Ambrose! So cute!
Fish tacos are my favorite. What's the recipe? Also, I never got to comment Ambrose's latest stats. He's huge!! I knew that when I saw him, but hearing the actual facts and figures really brings it home. I LOVE a big baby. No wonder I think he's so cute.
i'll have to ask my friend bille for the recipe - she made them and they were so so so GOOD!
i've never eaten a fish taco. i got something wonderful in the mail.
