ah! forget weight loss...

my beach cruiser was stolen today. i went up to campus to do some supervisions with clients for work and when i got back... it was GONE! it was locked up and everything. i made a report with the campus security and they in turn reported it to the police. man, this is the second bike i have had stolen in the last year. could it be that i was not made for two wheels and a smooth ride? now that my car's transmission is shot and my bike is stolen it looks like i will be increasing those walks afterall. meh.

this is where i locked it up and it was next to a bunch of other bikes- all were gone when i returned an hour later. so, either all were taken, or those other bikers came and got theirs sometime within that hour, or another biker saw mine and thought they would like two bikes... it's like chose your own mystery. sort of.

on a happier note: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!! (is this a birthday joke? if you wanted a bike- you could have just asked for it.) :)

Me again-- I feel like a owe you an explanation for posting on your blog. I check out the links on Lizzie and Micah's blog and yours is one of them. Anyway...so I'm not a stalker...In case you thought I was. But I had the same bike stolen twice last year... and our car was stolen last week. I guess it's a perk of living in Laie or what I've heard some refer to as the bike shop and apparently it's a free car lot as well. So anyways I'm sorry your bike was stolen. I feel your pain.
And you can come check out my sweet jogging stroller anytime. E220.

Ah, bringing people together. That's what blogs are all about, eh? I check the links on your gals' blogs occasionally as well. Love it.

But about the bike. Hate it. And the car, too, Melissa. I hope you both get them back!

Oh NO! I am so sad to hear about your bike! That stinks! It happens WAY TOO often there.

While on the subject of stalking, Stephanie, you have great friends! I enjoy checking out their blogs too!

oh, which friends? do tell! i mean, they are all cool- but just wondering which ones you've been "stalking"- i do it too- all the time in fact. :)
