12:18am

every once in a while i am just up in the night after much tossing and turning.

it makes no sense since i get up EARLY with a baby monkey every morning of my young life so i should be exhausted and i am, but i still cant fall asleep.

i did nothing exciting this weekend. nothing bad happened either-- it was just a low key kind of lame weekend.

lots of things happening this week: cousin megan comes to visit from DC, i start my new (actually old) job, and i have a long to-do list. aside from the visit of megan (can't wait! hooray!!)- nothing about this is thrilling or even worth blogging about.

we honestly still havent decided if we are staying in our place for 6 more months or moving back to laie and we need to tell our landlords on tuesday. i have to make some calls tomorrow and hopefully see a couple of places. or maybe we will just stay here. or maybe not. plus this one girl who said, "do you want to move into my place? we are moving out. come look at it...etc." has not returned either of my two messages... so... that's helpful. thanks. maybe something will just work out or seem obvious at the last second.

maybe all of this spinning around in my head is why i cant sleep. maybe.

It stinks to not know where you're going to be living in a few months, huh? We hope the stars align for you, so to speak.

Oh, and super cute little boy you have there. Cute mama, too.

ah, so beautiful you are. i just want to put you (and the little one) in a jar and feed you candy bars. thomas could come also, i suppose.

you know the back place is done now ... looks pretty nice too. wood floors (pergo), real baseboards (as opposed to the peel and stick kind us front-house dwellers have). I guess it still needs appliances ... but it's done except for a fridge.

I hope after writing this post your brain let you rest and you had a good nights rest. Seems like Sunday nights are like that though. I too hope you guys figure out where you will be. It stinks to feel like you are limbo.

i really do love your new hair cut. i want you to stay where you are cause i am selfish and you are closer to me when you are in hauula. but i understand the want/need to live in laie. if we could, i would.

You two are sooo photogenic. I'm excited about me coming, too! And things always have a way of falling into place and feeling right. Or sometimes you have to just make a decision. One of the two.

lame generic blog invitation... but still a good way to spread the word.
please come join us for a night of all american fun thursday july 3rd at 5pm, BYUH softball field. game starts at 5 bbq/potluck at 6:30ish. please bring 6 ears of corn if you can. oh also, this is for parents only since baseball isn't the friendliest environment for little ones. i know a few people are feeling nervous about the game, but it is all just for fun. i hope i see you there!!
ps. bring megan!

i had one of those horrifying, sleepless nights the other night. I was thinking out of all the ways to be tortured that would be the worst-- not being able to sleep even though your exhausted. I think that a busy mind is usually the problem in my case.

So my three year old is sitting on my lap right now and he just said, "mommy you are so happy in those pictures!" He meant you of course, so apparently we could switch roles and my child would never notice because this is not the first time he's mistaken your photos as ones of us. I'm quite flattered, as you are beautiful.
