i havent had good cable for so long, which has actually been quite nice. the only time the tv is really on is in the early morning when ambrose's parents are half awake and he is bright eyed and bushy tailed- soaking up some sesame street with a tray full of frosted mini-wheats... so, in other words i am out of the loop when it comes to my very favorite show of all time: project runway. i was able to watch season five at a couple of friends houses, but i was patiently waiting to hear about season six. i heard lifetime (gag me) picked up the show and then i heard that they didnt get it afterall... blah blah blah... and then i see this shocking image, reportedly from the season six FINALE!!!:
oh heidi... a shiny, hot pink, ill-fitting suit? really? :) anyway, my main point is: pictures from the finale have circulated and i didnt even know the show was aired in the first place.... was it on bravo? does anyone know?

I like the title of this post. Funny. I like watching shows like this with people- typically I have thought watching TV with people is lame but with this sort of stuff its fun! Sometimes I just love being a girl! Not that guys can't enjoy this too...
wish I could watch it with you and Diana and your other friends there in Hawaii and we could bond over it and eat lots and lots of treats!

Last I heard Lifetime actually picked up season 6 and started last November- I haven't seen any shows since December, so I don't know what's up. I also heard that season 7 will be back in New York and starts in June or July sometime. Oh, its on Bravo again too. I hope.
Season six has not aired yet. Heidi made a comment about how the runway show was weird because normally the designers have fans in the audience but this time that wasn't the case. She said she has no idea when season six will even air.
oh my, well i'm with you on not missing tv--except this show, too. i watched the whole last season on youtube, and plan on doing it again as soon as it airs...or whatever. sorry, am totally clueless myself.

I saw my very first episode of PR only 4 short days ago! We haven't ever had cable before now, and I have been trying to figure out when a new season will start. I heart PR!
legal issues regarding the show are preventing it from being aired. I don't know any of the specifics I just read that on some internet news outlet or other.
meant: haven't seen ANY shows (from previous seasons) since Dec. haven't seen season 6 at all.
Haha, isn't it crazy how life gets away from you sometimes? I think the pink suit was not the best idea but if anyone was going to try and carry it off it would have to be her.
no idea. wish I could be more helpful. I would rarely catch PR on it's regular nights. I'd normally watch a whole marathon on bravo and be a slug all day. I love slug days!

I too am a HUGE fan of the show.....make it work, make it work...in this case -- make it show, make it show!! I have missed the new season terribly...this is what I have found out...."NBC Universal, which owns Bravo, filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit against the Weinstein Co., claiming that it had been denied right of first refusal, that the show never should have been sold to Lifetime.
Now the whole mess is waiting to be untangled in the New York State Supreme Court. A trial date has not been set. No one knows when -- or where -- the show will appear again."
So..(even though you did see Heidi, and Heidi only, in that "less than attractive" pink suit), "in previous season finales, the finalists have skipped onto a Bryant Park runway during Fashion Week to proudly introduce their collections and talk about what "Project Runway" has meant to them. It was the pinnacle of their experience, and ours."
The New York fashion show that already took place this month (again, the pink suit photo) "will be completely anonymous to better protect the identities of the unknown contestants, who will hide out backstage." This way there is no spoiler for whenever the season finally airs.
