look mom!


the pregnant hippo:
made some party favors WITH hippos on them for all the kiddlets who come to amby's shin-dig.
i hope i made enough.

Those look so fun. My mom made some beanbags for Kailani and they have been her favorite toy to play with. Great job!
where did you get that cute fabric?

oh, and I'll email you some more recipes of mochi. oh, that one in that cookbook doesn't really taste like coconut if that's what you're worried about, it just tastes sweet. but I'll send you some other ones if you want to try them.

and sheila- the hippo fabric is from ikea but i bought it on sale (yahoo) on etsy from fabric worm and the faux wood is just from good old fabric mart in kaneohe- SOMETIMES they sell something besides aloha print! ;)

I am so honored! You are definately my daughter if you hum while you sew. The bean bags are adorable, good job on your first try at beanbags. Life's pleasures are the things that we do to make other people's lives better; that includes giving them a beanbag ;)
