the beach is magical. we take a rowdy boy to the beach, run him around at ward camp in the morning, aunty rachel's birthday celebration all afternoon and about 20 otter pops (this is not an exaggeration, i have several witnesses) later we get this:
and this boy was all tuckered out too, but what's new? honestly:
and our little camp site is pretty hilarious:
simply because all the other ones look like this:
"why we gotta be so haole all the time??" i asked thomas. :) oh well, it's a good size for us- especially since we are only there during the day. i came to my senses... spending the night in a small tent with a two year old and a two week old... crazy. maybe next year!
anyway, the beach is magic. amby is so much more well behaved and happy in the great outdoors and so much easier to handle at bed and nap time. magic.

nice. it is magic. especially when topped off with all those otter pops. and your haole line made me laugh. hehe. at least you are making an appearance at camp. woohoo!!!
you are so awesome. Thanks for coming. And you are awesome to camp...I love to camp, but I'm not brave enough to do so with infants.
I agree with kids and the great outdoors, we are trying our best to go that way and raise Bou and our future ones there. It is SO GOOD for the senses, body, and mind. Plus everyone sleeps better after a long day outside.
wow... 20 otter pops?!!? Sounds like MY kids!
But I always say... Where there is a sugar high, there is a sugar LOW!!
YAY for magic
