mini van mom

it's happened. i'm 25, i have two kids, and now.... i drive a mini-van. wow.

a 2007 silver hyundai entourage to be exact.

and truth be told, i am pretty pleased about it.

we knew we wanted to get something bigger than the good old aveo for the two kids to ride in...safer and whatnot and yesterday we were given an offer we couldnt refuse and were able to trade in the aveo nicely and can you believe it... (sometimes we can benefit from this crappy economy) it comes out to be the same payments as our little car we traded in. YAHOO FOR US!

so, if you see me cruising down the highway with a "my student is the most annoying kid at such-n-such elementary school" bumper sticker, with the wiggles soundtrack going full blast, on the way to this lesson and that school fundraiser, feel free to wave hello and try not to laugh... you and your sporty little crumb and juice free car will get your turn at a sweet trade-in someday too. :)

Congrats! I thought three kids was the ticket to mini-van land. I hope I can still fit two in my little geo for now!

Nice van you guys! Since I now own two mini vans I will not be judging you- don't worry. :-) Anyway, I have decided that people who make fun of mini vans really haven't tried having one yet. They will soon discover that having enough room when kids are involved makes all the difference.

Yay for you guys! I agree, they are pretty nice afterall. That's what I thought when we finally got one. Hooray for too good of deals to refuse. So happy for you guys! ENJOY!

LOL, I love it! I hope I get my turn at a trade-in one day, too -- I think the most luxurious time I had in HI was riding in a roommate's parents' rented minivan. Good for you guys!

it took me a while to get over the whole mini-van mom thing but i really do love my van. they make things really convenient and so so roomy.

Micah would love to go through life without ever owning a mini-van. Since we don't even have a car these days, it's not so much of a worry, but I wonder if we can really achieve all his goals.

I'm sure he just needs to see how hot the Robertson family makes it look and then he'd be sold.

We have thought about getting a van and when we get the next baby I'm sure the Camry will be a mighty tight sqeeze with all 3 car seats, but I just can't talk myself into having a car payment again. You van looks very nice!
