my heart has been breaking all day

A local fellow playgroup mom and friend, Natalie Norton, is going through just about every parent's worst nightmare right now and my heart has been breaking for her and her family all day.

I have been praying and praying and praying for her eight week old baby and for her and her husband and three other little boys to find strength and comfort and peace.

Through it all she has kept us all updated with the latest on her blog and through facebook.

She has requested prayers and I would love to help pass that message along. I cannot even imagine what she must be going through right now. Tonight as I nursed Asher to sleep I held him just a little bit longer and felt so much sorrow for her and her sweet little Gavin. I will continue to hope for a miracle.

You said everything that was on my heart...but so much better. I'm up late tonight thinking and praying too.

I'm in tears.

I thought that was so amazing that she was also asking for prayers on behalf of other children too. What a special and Christ like person she is.

She has our prayers. Challenges like hers are so humbling. I hope she can feel the Lord helping her to bear this burden.

She's lucky to have you as a friend, Steph.

this has been so intense! i've been following and praying and hurting the way mama hearts only can. but like you say, can't even begin to imagine the heaviness in her own mama heart.

My heart aches for her. A mothers worst nightmare! I hope she can continue to draw on her faith to pull her through the next stage in her life. :-( Her family will definitely be in my prayers tonight!
