Ten points if you know why this is a great October song. Besides the fact that we all love Sally and Fiona Apple.
Ten more points if you know what I'm a-stirrin' here.
Oh you're getting closer....
mmmmmmmm.....
Final answers please!
What? You mean not EVERYONE knows about the famous Hawkins (my maiden name) Family Halloween feast?
Well, this is it. Down to the very last blueberry muffin. So, now you know.
It probably just threw you off that it isn't technically Halloween yet, but CLOSE ENOUGH!
(insert wild witch cackling here as you screech): HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!

uh, that's apple cider in case you're wondering... it looks like another tall, cold beverage in these pictures... which certainly would have made this family feast a little more festive, but we just ain't that kinda festive around here. :)
for some reason i think it's really funny that blueberry muffins are part of a halloween feast.
i don't think they were always blueberry.... sometimes cran-orange (my mamas favorite)... but def blueberry at some point.
and... oatmeal?
and...beef jerky on a plate?
Come on people. Corn chowder and bacon to top it annonymous. Bacon. So close!
yummm!! corn chowder is my favorite!!
and i thought that was apple juice...
yay for being festive! i bought 2 children's halloween books today and faith's costume (cowgirl). i'm so excited!!
I was all ready to guess Corn Chowder with Bacon and you already gave the answer away!!!
PS I was also really excited because I thought my word verification was hotdog, but after typing it I realized it was hotog...this whole experience has been disappointing.
Let the holiday celebrating begin!!!! I'm so excited too.
