So Merry Christmas to us! Butter mints galore! I guess I'll be asking for bigger pants this year.....

Speaking of delish. Thomas was setting up the big window/knook area to do some portraits so the boys and I headed out for the day so we wouldn't be in everyones way. When we returned I found his test shots:

those mints look amazing. I always admire people who cook with their kids. Really it is not very fun for me. Is it the same for everyone else they just do it anyway cause they know it is good for their kids? Tell me, cause if that's the case I can suck it up and do that too!
haha- hoo hoo oh man that's funny Kahi because I was thinking about you around the time we made the mints... maybe I had just read your blog or maybe I'm just creepy like that.... but I specifically thought, "I wonder how people with more than two kids do stuff like this. I bet Kahi keeps her cool." I stress throughout but just try to keep laid back because they are so messy and crazy but love it so much and beg to help all the time. I learned from my mother in law to let Ambrose help pour things in. I am not as patient as her though and end up being a little controlling and saying, "No, NO! Mama has to do this part and so if you can wait without whining then you can pour the next thing in!!" haha
