faithful friends who are dear to us, travel near to us, once more.....

We had ourselves a merry little Christmastime visit with Mike, Bille and Nico staying with us this past week. They were excellent guests and it just felt good to be together. Bille is one of my all-time BFFs because she is hilarious, uninhibited, feels like family, beautiful inside and out, stylish, cool, crafty, and real. She is who she is and I totally aspire to be more like her in many ways. Way to go Bille friend. I hope I have embarrassed you enough.

Come back soon friends! It was so fun seeing adorable Nico and Mike and Bille as parents. Nico totally held her own with these tough guys around here. I'm not kidding about coming again soon guys. You have a toddler bed, blow-up mattress, and pack-n-play at your disposal at a moments notice! We loved having you.

Note to weird BYUH alumni and random old ward members from my homeward when I was six and other people I don't really know: This may sound sassy, but this offer does not apply to you. Just because you come to Hawaii and happen to maybe sorta know me does not entitle you to a free stay at our house. No sirree. Real friends and family only please. Thanks! (You wouldn't believe the shameless inquiries I've had people.)

Uhhh, on that weird end note (which I feel Mike and Bille would properly appreciate and get a small chuckle from- WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

It was a delight to be with you and your family! Our apartment seems especially small and dark. Nico seemed especially saucy today I think she missed playing with the double As.

I might have just had one of those chocking-while-drinking-and-spitting-water-out-your-mouth-moments as I read your end note... Ummmmm. Dying laughing. Dying.

Thank you.

Next time just tell me how you really feel.

I love them too. They better come two weeks every time they visit though.. so we can share them. one week with you, one with us.
Lets do more bonfire/smore evenings. But not when it is wet.

I totally can't relate! :0) Nobody wants to come to FREEZING Nebraska!! :0) That made me laugh...and sometimes you just have to be real or else you'll get weird homeless freeloaders in your house and that's just akward. :0)
