he's had a runny nose for a little while and started to cough a bit towards the end of the week, but after ava's fun birthday party on saturday we ran some errands and throughout the afternoon it became apparent that he just wasnt himself. by 4am sunday morning it became apparent that he was sick sick sick. we've been taking shifts ever since. poor amby boy. i'm gonna call the doctor today- this boy needs to be healthy so he can roll around with his hawkins cousins in new port beach!

it sounds like amby and i are suffering from the same ailment. tell him i feel his pain and am empathizing all the way from idaho.
i just talked to betty hawkins and she said isaac has a similar problem in las vegas... it's sweeping the country and taking down baby boys and becca boos in it's path! feel better friend!

also i think that means that you will be gone august 2nd? that is the day we are planning on having kaiya's b-day. we're passing out the invites this week.

Poor baby boy! I hope he gets better for your sanity on the plane ride. We can't wait to see him and his parents.
it's funny to me how you sound excited about traveling. maybe it's living on an island, maybe it's being a stay-at-home mom longer than 4 months, maybe it's because mr. a-man isn't taking 4 naps a day anymore...but i dread it!
dear ambrose, try some echinacea tea. i hear it does wonders but it's really not my thing.
oh yeah, travel is all routine now. amby has been on more flights than most his age and before it was awesome because i could nurse him into an oblivion the whole time and now it's not so bad cuz we usually do a red eye so i give him benedryl (as is every mother's sacred right to do so) and he sleeps like...well...a baby the whole flight. plus, anything hard with a child doesnt get to me like it used to. crying? ok. screaming? i'll never see these people again. arching your back? it wont last forever. and then we get to see family and play in the end! hooray!!!

i had the most lovely dream about you and your fam last night. you were delightful and your husband was charming and your ambrose was snuggly with me and happy with my boys. isn't that random? it was but it was just so lovely! sorry, are you nervous that i am dreaming about you now? yikes.
Hey! Are you going to be stopping by good ol' Bakersfield while you're in CA?? Perhaps we could organize an Edwards Cinemas reunion bruncheon! And you know, it's not every day that you get to use the word 'bruncheon'...
I move home August 1st, so the timing just might be right! I officially met Thomas at your Bakersfield wedding reception, but I've never met Ambrose! Wait...you said something about Newport Beach...that's a much more fabulous location for a bruncheon...
