but enough about me

guess who starts pre-school on tuesday??

We're doing Ho'ala Na Pua- Na Kamalei-K.E.E.P. at the Hauula site, which is petty much down the street from our very own house so we can even walk there!

I am so excited. It is a really good, fun little program every Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11am and I am excited for Ambrose to get out and do new things. He is really young (almost one and a half), so I don't think this is about strenuous academic training here. I am just interested in exposing him to a variety of experiences so he can do stuff we wouldn't normally do and be around other kids (learn to be part of a group, get along with others...etc.) and get out of the house. We spend so much time each week on the road for my job and so I think that scheduling this "Ambrose time" is putting my mind at ease about all that.

The best part (some might say the worst since pre-school = break for most parents) is that I get to go with him. Since he is so young I don't really feel good about just dropping him off somewhere for pre-school just yet. I want to be there with him as he does all these new things. He's my buddy.

So, Tuesday is our first day. We meet at Kekela beach this time and he has to wear his "field trip" shirt- how cute is that?

you guys are going to love class...it's perfect because they experience and learn a lot of new things, just with us by their sides.

"Ambrody" is going to love it! Wish we were at the same site tho--that'd be fun!

that's such a cool program! I'll have to see if they have something similar here. Jack and I start infant swim lessons next week--he probably will barely notice, but I'm super excited!

Wow, that is cool! Benson is just starting Joy school this year, poor banksy has to wait a few more years because we definitely don't have anything like that here. How fun for you two. And I swear he has so much personality just in photos. I feel like I'm missing out not knowing your adorable little man.

Ambrose is becoming quite the little man. Kid socialization is the best, worked wonders on my grumpy nephew, not that Ambrose is a grump.
