everyone is busy and tired, but good.

i came upon the conclusion a while back that everyone is busy and everyone is tired. i never think that i am any more busy or tired than anyone else-- we all just fill our time different ways. today, everyone in the robertson family is tired. i have been billing into the night and then sleeping on the couch the last couple of nights so i wont wake thomas up with my coughing and then i wake myself up with my coughing all night.

thomas is a busy social worker/musician/dad/husband...etc. and is tired.

ambrose coughs all night too and insists on waking up early every morning, so he's tired. we worked all day visiting clients from north shore mental health so his nap was cut in half, he's very very tired.

enough of the belly aching- here's the fun/busy part: we ran around windward mall in between appointments most of the day. ambrose is obsessed with the elevator and escalator and if he holds my hand i just let him do whatever he wants to fill the time. we ate cookies, pizza, and drank lots of soda (awesome). we met up with thomas for a bit. we bought halloween books/cds for ourselves (and for the buck and greene kids), we read halloween books, we made friends with a few elderly local couples in the resting area of the mall, we played in the play area for the longest time ever, we said hello to all the pets in the pet store... a few times, we dont want to go back to the mall and do the same things for a long, long time... but we might be back tomorrow.

want to see what a leprachun throwing a fit looks like? ok, here ya go:

oh yeah, and last night i met up with the book club that echo started and we celebrated reading our first book, captain blood, by dressing up as pirates, eating treats, and watching captain blood: the movie. we were specifically told to not smile and make a pirate face... i think i must have misunderstood and made a growling pup face, but it gets the fireceness across anyway.

So was the book really good? I feel in the mood for an adventure story. If the book was half as good at that growling pup face you are making I am sure I will love it. And, I am an underachiever who is not busy, just lame. But I am ok with that.

i love your life- i really cant think of anything more desirable... living in san fran, working at anthropologie, having time to think and enjoy... yeah, sounds awesome to me!

but yeah, captain blood was good, which surprised me for some reason. there are some slow parts, but it is a good swashbucklin' (sp??) tale!

Looks like fun. I wish I would have made it. I'm glad you belly-ache about being tired. Sometimes i feel bad about my "complaining posts". Anyway, about the pirate thing. Totally forgot about it till a little after 9, and by then... I was too tired. ;-) Go figure.

did you guys plan to all wear stripes, because that is really adding to the effect for me. you make me laugh with your made up expressions, growling pup. and i am saddened to hear of your night coughing couch sleeping times. everyone is busy and tired. i know that repeating what you just said isn't clever, but its just so true. still sometimes i wonder, "how come everybody else seems to be so much tuffer and more productive than moi-self?" keep up the good work.

You are so cute Steph and I love the little fit Ambrose is throwing. Hard to be upset with a cute face like that!

i'm afraid i'm with bille on this one. i'm not busy either, and pretty lame moi-self (to quote the diana--see you can be clever even if you just repeat people).

Repeating, but yeah, I've been beat -- seriously, this training is ... draining. Your expression in the pirate pic made me lol. Ambrose cracks me up too.
