answer me this...

how do two hippie-dippie, tofu eating, recycling, npr listening, obama supporting, peace loving, crunchy granola, tree-hugger types like me and thomas (me more than him, but him too) produce a child who runs into the arcade every time we are at the mall just to bee-line straight over to this little gem: the jungle hummer that shoots machine guns at animals and things on a big screen tv..... how? haha

he loves it. with all his little heart. (i never put money in it- he still hasnt realized that that is a possibility thankfully)
oh well, at least he's getting into yoga these days....

check out those stomach muscles!

me and nate laughed hard at ambrose climbing up the wall. then nate said, "ambrose is my favorite ambrose." and you can take that to the bank.

I'm greatful for that little description of you and thomas up at the beginning of this post. I like how there's a little round ambrose head poking gleefully out of that huge gizmo and yoga... awesome... baby yoga... that's totally advanced...

I have no answers, except that I believe children are genetically engineered to love everything their parents hate at some point in their lives.

And also, I love Ambrose climbing up the wall. Ambrose is my favorite Ambrose, too.

But Simon has nicer abs. ;) (He is his father's child.)

Also, Simon can now say Ambrose's name. It kind of sounds like "apple." And he has taken to putting his feet on the wall. Copy-cat.

For the record, I don't think of myself as a tofu eater. And punk rock has taught me to hate hippies :)

haha! faith calls that a handstand!! go ambrose! and if you ever need fabric just to practice with, i've got lots from my mom, some funky 80's prints i can't see myself using for anything other than practicing sewing with.

really, i'm feeling a little too jealous of those ab muscles. how many reps/sets a day of that does he do?

So, my kids didn't know those machines could move when you put money in 'em either until some other parent did it while their kid was on board with Finn. I was all worried that I would have to stop spending my quarters on Taco Bell bean burritos and start puting my quarters in those ride machines. But guess what? Finn didn't even like it! It kinda freaked him out and now, while he loves to climb aboard, he refuses to let me spend my precious burrito coins on those machines. It works for me!
