the smartie tent that katie told me about and then blogged about would be on my back the first time i took this second baby to the beach.
these awesome, huge, lightweight nursing/swaddling blankets that everyone around here has would be stylishly wrapped around my baby as he drifted off to sleep in that cool smartie tent.
and jaime's dreams for ambrose would be a reality - you're right jaime. this has my name all over it. i cant resist a good octopus. i just cant.
like these fabrics for instance. look how awesome. dont think i've ever forgotten them for one minute. i haven't- every time i dream up crafts these prints take center stage in my mind.
these do too but for different reasons.
oh well. i can honestly say that i have what i want and i want what i have, but it's ok to like other things too.... or as my dad would say, "it doesnt hurt to want!" haha, really? it doesnt? :)

Oh, I like these sort of imaginative propositions.
Allow me to say that I think it is so entirely natural to want things we don't have- but that time and time again I have been inspired and humbled by the positive uplifiting gratitude that is evidenced throughout your entire blog. What I mean is- guilt be gone! You have no place in Stephanie's heart!
very cute fabric indeed.
My dad says that too, ALL the time. Fitting that Grandpa still calls me "Kim's girl". I miss your dad. And you for that matter!
haha - my father-in-law says, 'you learn bad habits in good times, and you learn good habits in bad times'- we both fall under the latter, so at least there'll be some good outta this. right? and i have some of that octopi fabric from ms. heather ross. i just might make something for your baby #2 with it...
I like all of that stuff! I've been eyeing that octopus fabric for a while now... I like her mermaids too.
I think about what I want/what I would do/where I would travel if I had money all the time. It keeps me looking toward the future. I think it's not so bad!
that octopus shirt is perfect. too bad it does not come larger!
and i love all the fabricworm love, she is the best! i think i am going to order some more of the mendocino line, cause i am scared for when you can no longer get it. which one is your fav?- i will order some extra!
I have a little book that I keep notes in during church and fire sides stuff. But on the very back page I have a secret list of things I want. hehe!
Like a kitchen aid mixer, navigation in my car or even just a lettuce spinner (those things are so cool).
I think it's fun to keep a wish list. But I only let myself look at it every now and then:)
i rushed onto oldnavy.com to send an octo shirt your way, but it only goes up to 24 mos. so sad.
so i guess i'll learn how to sew and do it that way ... i mean, not sewing the whole shirt. that would be crazy. but i'm sure i can figure out how to sew an 8 legged sea creature on an already manufactured shirt.
look at me being all sneaky and leaving an anonymous comment. :) octo shirt to the rescue!
who are you mystery cool person!?! this is killing me! how kind :) seriously, who? come now- haha :)
i love that smartie tent! that rocks!
What a cool tent. And I will have to keep my eye out for you for "knock-off" fabric like I have been using with Texton. $2.48 a yard at Wal-Mart. And what a cute octopus t-shirt. Has Ambo's name written all over it!
my list of things i want if i had money gets longer everyday. and it seems the more i get the more i see out there and then the more i want. it is a vicious cycle.
but i do know that addy wants to see ambrose. she has been telling gamma dixie and papa ben about him all week. and when we went for our walk/run this morning we passed your house and addy cried for a bit cause she wanted to see you.
one more thing...i had an idea for friday beach day if it is yucky weather for beaching. what if we went up to foodland at pupukea then parked and walked part of the boardwalk then walked back and ate acai bowls?? exercise, new scenery, good healthy food. sounds good to me. or maybe just you and i can do it one morning if it is too late of notice to let everyone else know.?.
oh steph, i just read your piece from the previous post and loved it (but didn't know if i was legitimate enough to leave a comment on the other blog). it made me think about how sad and lonely i felt when you left me for hawaii. but mostly, it was a wonderfully bittersweet story of your transition into a place that has truly become your home. let us know when you post more to the site!
If I had nine fiddy to spare I would send you the octopod. Really I would. But we need toilet paper this week. Like bad.
You'll never know the Peter Parker behind my Spider Man. [enter sneaky laughter here]
But octo shirt is headed your way. THE one, the Old Navy one, because I realized your Amby is in fact 24 mos. of age, so said shirt should fit, eh? And honestly, who knows when I'll actually learn to sew.
sneaky sneaky - i revel in my sneakiness!
who is this!!! who is this??? WHO IS THIS!?!?! you're killing me with your generosity- man i feel like crying- in a good way! :) seriously, i dont know what to say.... this is so so nice! thank you! WHO ARE YOU??????? (tell me please. i love you.)
awesome anonamo! yay for stephanie!
