if you cant find me
it's because i am holding on to every last second with ambrose before he becomes a big brother and it is all happening way too fast.
hope you had a happy mothers day. my present will be arriving as soon as we find it. have you seen that sewing cabinet in weekend sewing by heather ross? it's like a computer desk with doors but you keep all your fabrics, notions, machine, cork board with ideas...etc. in it and so you have all your stuff in one place (instead of all over the house like me) and little crawlers cant get into cords because you can just shut the door. mine will be olive green with antique light blue on the inside. mine will have a fold out extra desk.... mine exists.... somewhere.... i swear. I'M EXCITED!
ok, me and the boy are off to the beach and maybe out to lunch. i made a countdown calendar (3 weeks and 4 days but who's counting) and each day has an adventure for the two of us. we're savoring every moment around here but we are excited for the future too.

thanks for the update friend. and like we discussed this morning, i know how you are feeling about these last few weeks. i hope you and ambrose find plenty of fun things to do before the long awaited arrival of asher.
I remember when I was pregnant with Eva and about to have her that I felt so sad that it wouldn't be just me and Aiken anymore. I was excited to have another kid and to not be a prego anymore, but that time alone with your oldest is seriously so, so fun, and I really do miss it. I just try and have a date night once a week with each of my kids...some alone time. Sometimes it happens...sometimes it doesn't. I can't believe you're nearly done with this pregnancy! It has FLOWN by...to me, that is.
your pregnancy HAS really has gone by fast. How exciting.
if its too much to ask, can you post a photo of your countdown?
you know I love countdowns!
What a fun time for you. You will love having two little boys. It's seriously so fun.
I'm totally going to go and find this book just to look at this sewing cabinet. It sounds fabulous and I think I need one too!
yeah, i met you before you were pregnant, and it has been such a fun experience watching you grow and soon you will have 2! so amazing. i think it's great that you are spending some one-on-one with your firstborn. so fun! and i don't know if you feel like pulling a wagon around, but i'm thinking of bringing it by next time i drive our bigger car that way. aren't you just loving this beach weather? so perfect!!!
and that sounds like an awesome mother's day gift. my parents have one of those cabinets that they used to house their computer in, and i think they got it at pier one. it's really nice, too. don't know the cost, though, but it would work perfectly for your machine.
oh, sorry. I thought you meant you made an actual countdown- like links, a calendar something. Did you make a countdown? Anyways, a picture of you and the little guy in the belly is great too.
you have been rather sparse in writing. miss you.
i So remember those days ... i sucked addi in like a slurpee on a hot day. every waking moment i just wanted to stare at her and live with her and watch her be herself, alone, all mine ... an me all hers.
those are nice days. i think it's awesome you're soaking them in.
and the sewing cabinet makes me drool. no, seriously, drooling here.
I so know what you mean! I've been doing that a bit myself lately and we still have 5 1/2 months left. Sometimes I feel so guilty for doing this to Jack before he can understand what is happening, but I'm excited for him to be a big brother, too.
