i was gonna find all the lovely super cheese-fest posed pictures of yesteryear for your enjoyment and dedicate them to my good buddy ashley moffat since she started the formal friday trend- but i cant really find them.
i DID find these gems though and they are equally hilarious and occasionally scandalous now that my married mother of two self runs a critical eye over them. whatcha gonna do??
my poor mother did her best to persuade me to cover myself and bless her for that. this is only a small selection of a few of the MANY dances i attended. anyway- enjoy:
i think this one was the most fun/my favorite:
and this concludes this dance down memory lane. we leave in the early AM for las vegas and fly home to hawaii on wednesday morning so i wont be posting for a while. have a great week- drive home safe.

Stephanie, may I just say, dang, you are gorgeous. That's mostly what I noticed anyway looking at these pics.
what are you talking about??!! all those dresses are moderately modest! common. :-)
i LOVE these blasts from the past. so awesome. those were the days....
I love the blast from the past. I LOVE IT!! oh I wish I hadn't thrown away all my dance pictures. I would have loved a blast from the past.
hi hoochie, errr, i mean, stephanie. haha, just kidding!!! you look so great, but honestly, i think you look even more beautiful now naturally, sans all the makeup. love you, girl!!
see you soon! and at least you got the balls to post these. in my moments of self-loathing i threw a lot of my high school pictures away...
rachel, never regret throwing away your dance pictures.
oh these pictures were wonderful, but why was high school so painful in so many ways.
steph, i can't believe you remember sportss. oh man, that is hilarious. i'm going to make a t-shirt that says sportss. because one s is never quite plural enough.
wow steph. You have a little attitude and spunk in those photos.
Those are great!
you look like a much more well adapted high schooler than I was. Oh geeze, graduation day was the best day of my entire highschool experience for sure.
Oh Mr Friend Stephanie! I love the 25-year-old-two-kids-mini-van-driving-mom that you are now, but these were sure fun. You had spunk then and you still have it now.
do you still have that bronze tube dress? Yowza!
whoa! i guess that's how they roll in bakersfield!
YES YES YES!
i love it! how fun are old dance pictures? they are so fun! i think that no mater where you grew up all the huge group pictures in front of a friends house look the same. unless you are in utah, then there is more fabric involved. thanks for finding these and posting them!
love the cherry dress! you are so hot!
so wonderful. you should do more trips down memory lane that don't involve my butt.
you are such a pretty little thing in all these photos!
Yeah, the tube dress is hott. But please say you still have the cherry number! You need to sew some cap sleeves on that bad boy and ROCK IT! So so cute!
