there are a lot of things dedicated families say goodbye to when they have children.

restful nights

careers for at least one stay-at-home parent

certain self-centered hobbies

going out to trendy restaurants and clubs on weekends

sanity. ha!

but what's better than watching stuart little on a bed of pillows and blankets that your two year old proudly made for the whole family?

nothing i can think of. these are the days.

i don't mind nights like these, either.

We had a dance party tonight. Me, my giant belly, my hubby, my little girl and some sweet tunes. It may not be glamourous, but it doesn't get much better in my book.

I think it also makes you appreciate the times when that little bit of your old life comes back.
(Like last night when we went to Tokkuri Tei. and then ate frozen yogurt at the place next door (good, but icy-- stick with yogurt mama or red mango in my opinion).)

:( You have to keep convincing me of this. You guys do a pretty darn good job of making it look appealing, though. I would play rock band on a broom all day, Ambrose is so cute. But looking at your list, here's where I am on my willingness to say goodbye to the things you listed:
- negative
- definitely not
- eh, maybe
- NO WAY EVER EVER EVER
- left a long time ago anyway :)
Hmm, this isn't looking so good for my standing as the default matriarch of my own "dedicated family" ...
