you wanna run too?

BYUH students, faculty, and staff can run this awesome 5k for Haiti that my friend Jonna is in charge of

aaaand in September there is the Hina Mauka 5k Dry Walk and Recovery Run in Kapiolani Park. I know September is a long time from now, but if you register now it is only $10 so even if you back-out you are only out $10.

It's a lot of fun. Me and Sheila are doing it since she will have had her babe by then and wants to run a race. Great way for all of us moms to get in shape. Join us! Sign up here before Feb.28th and you will only have to shell out $10. The proceeds go to a great cause too of course!

Also, both these runs are, of course, not on a Sunday. This is really rare in the running community. Seize the opportunity! :)

Totally worth it.

Ok steph. I signed up and I'm already excited about it. I told Keoni I wanted some new tennis shoes for my birthday.
SEIZE it is.

or, I guess they should be 'running shoes' not tennis.

I wanna do one! Maybe the Haiti one...that would be cool! Oh, because Kaiser sponsers the great aloha run, I usually get a pretty discount on the entry fee and it comes with lots of awesome free stuff, like a goodie bag, free shirt, free food...stuff like that and I can sign up family and friends for that price....so I'll be sure to let you guys know next year.

I think the Haiti one is only for BYUH students, staff, and faculty for some reason... which is kinda lame since I am sure they could make more money if they opened it up to all people, but I could be wrong. And if they did have to restrict it- I am sure there is a reason they had to... I'm positive they are not just being exclusive! :)

You could try and email one of the students coordinating the event for more details on how to sign up: email Brittney Lee at britt_lee17@hotmail.com for sign up information

I'll be emailing her today to sign up as well!

I wish I could run. Running makes my tummy hurt.
I missed the Aloha Run for the first time in 5 years! So sad. My pics never come out as awesome as yours, though. I always look half drunk.
